Went to Irwindale out of tuning frustration. I continue to throw "misfire code" and "misfire cylinder 7" on start ups. With all that said, I really appreciate all the guys that have contacted me to try to help, unfortunately I havent data logged and during my day..... well I have not found the time. Back to Irwindale.......I installed a tune that had been modified to attempt to cure my so called "tranny problem"....but also had been modified for my engine.(not yours Dave!) All passes were done on Chevron 91 octane. 1st pass(4:00pm) [email protected].....:thongue2: Next tune the Diablo 91/cai 2nd pass(4:20pm) [email protected]..... Next Diablo91/cai- +2%fuel/+1deg timing 3rd pass(4:40pm) [email protected]:shok: Next Diablo91/cai- +5%fuel/+1deg timing 4th pass(5:14pm) [email protected] Next Diablo91/cai- +10%fuel/+1deg timing 5th pass(6:12pm) [email protected] NextDiablo91/cai- +10%fuel/+3deg timing 6th pass(7:20pm) [email protected] :surprise: It started to get crowded and I was done, however I feel I'm on the right direction and now understand this motor is screaming for more fuel and a bit more timing. Also these times are comparable to my 6.1 with 100 shot of nitrous while putting 500hp to the wheels!! After a solid tune....looks like this will be a high to mid 11's N/A Jeep!!! Wait until it sees the 200 shot!! Jim383.......I know you'll be correcting these for me!
Nice Brudda! Excellent times, and will be even better with the "clean-up". What kind of 60' times were you posting and what would these times convert to for 1/4 mile? Great job!
Low of 1.6 to high of 1.711 due to tire spin. The slower times gave me better 60' due to less wheel spin. If you dont correct them for DA they are 12.0-11.9. If you correct them they are close to mid/high 11's Not bad for a 4,900lb truck with the aerodynamics of a Winnebago! Thank you ,sir!
Steve they never change there time to daylite savings on the time clocks so add 1 hr to the times you ran as they dont start till 5pm. I check the DA only 3 times last nite 5pm the DA was 1986 ft and at 7pm it was 1854 ft at 9pm it was 1643 ft. Ill corrected them inbetween those times. 5pm DA 1986 FT RUN 1...REG.....SEA LEVEL ET.......8.00 = 7.82 MPH...83.90 = 85.76 5.20 PM DA 1986 FT RUN 2 ET.......7.86 = 7.69 MPH...86.90 = 88.83 5.40 PM DA 1980 FT ESTIMATED RUN 3 ET.......7.82 = 7.65 MPH...88.00 = 89.95 6.14 PM DA 1914 FT ESTAMATED RUN 4 ET.......7.75 = 7.58 MPH...88.60 = 90.49 7.12 PM DA 1854 FT RUN 5 ET.......7.78 = 7.62 MPH...88.70 = 90.53 8.20 PM DA 1756 FT ESTIMATED RUN 6 ET.......7.70 = 7.55 MPH...89.11 = 90.84
Steve your shipping weight with 5 gals gas is 4694 curb weight is 4831 + your body weight, im guessing at 240, so im guessing your race weight is about 5071. I no mine is 5090 and i weigh 240. THE 07 ARE 19 LBS HEAVIER THAN 08. Your fastes time converted to 1/4 is 12.01 and corrected is 11.78
