Now that the Cup is settled I thought we'd move on to the NBA. Any thoughts all? I'm picking Celts in 7, Kobe's great but the Celts have home court and Garnett is due, he paid his debt being stuck in Minnesota all those years.
i got a bet... the bet is a night of drinking on whoever looses... I said the team from the East would win wheover it was before the pistons/celts were over, and Lakers were going to be in the finals.. I think Celts have to much talent to loose... I honestly think Ray Allen may explode.... because Kobe will be guarding paul pierce I think for some reason.... odom is to slow for garnett, and pierce would get past walton or whoever there SF is.... i think they put kobe on Pierce.... I think celts in 6

Stevie, i must say man.... i love college better than pro sports football and basketball.... but with sports being my #1 passion... I must say I have to tolerate it when there isnt anything else on.. and baseball just doesnt cut it these days..
Agree guys, baseball is a joke and keeps on getting worse. What's really bad is that they get paid more than most pro athletes for doing nothing more than sitting on their asses chewing gum ... or sunflower seeds. Wait, I forgot, they get to go stand around on the field too.
Celts up one now, 3 more to go. Interesting game, both teams seemed out of it, prolly the long layoff. And what's with game 2 not being till Sunday?!?! And wtf do they switch to the 2-3-2 format, I hate that, stupid NBA, no other pro sport does that. Oh well, nice to see all the big names at the game last night especially Dr. J! Boy, was he awesome to watch in his prime, for me simply the best!!
lakers in 5 oh yeah, thats right. they got the bad game outta the way early and now its time for the 4 game run. celts just dont have what it takes, they almost got beat in game 1 on their own floor. the way the lakers played, they should have lost by a lot more.
I think the Celtics in 6 or 7. When the Celtics are in it, they stay strong. But they show that they can be beat. I'd like to see the Celtics take it. Garnett has waited a long time for this, I don't think he's going to go away easy
