I Need Some Advice On Which Springs To Get For My Charger. Looking To Gie Rid Of Some Wheel Gap. Im Considering The Hotchkis Springs, Anyone Try Them?? Coilovers Won't Be Til Later..
turthfully, do not waste your time or money on springs only....... car is way too heavy to do only a spring only change imo. the stock shocks will be compressed further, constantly, and will fail soon after. just hold out for the coilovers.....you will not be sorry!!!!
Yes, you are so wise.. i had rerad that on hear once i believe. so now i need to find a dea on some kw's... anybody have a set that they are selling?
this man is wise... EBAY EBAY!!!!!!! hahaha just wait it out....they will pop up for sale from somebody sooner or later... or you can get with JMatt and get the adjustable suspension for your car...if i had denero i'd go for that one myself!!!

They all do except for 08s, which I just found out from reading a thread on the OC (Adam). Following it another member says now MSC has rear Bilsteins for us to match the fronts and they also have the Eibach springs as well, pretty good deal compared to how much a coilover kit costs. It's just gonna beat up the shocks being lowered tho, I think the Eibach kit drops 1 1/2 inches which is how much I lowered my car Dave so you can guess what that'll do to the stock shocks, ouch!
The only way you can use lowering springs on the 05-07 SRT8 LX cars is if you change the rear shocks...we have self leveling Nivomat shocks in the rear that prevent the rears from being lowered w/ springs alone. The 08+ have Bilsteins all around. However, you can get the Bilstein shocks for the rear and then use the Hotchkis Lowering springs for the car. My suggestion would be to hold out for coilovers, but if you just want a lower ride we can get you setup w/ the Hotchkis Springs and Bilstein Shock setup. Here are the Hotchkis Springs http://www.bmcspeedshop.com/product_p/hss-19105.htm We can also get the Bilstein shocks as well.
Digging up this old thread trying to find a part# for those rear Bilsteins. LMK, Mike Found him on the other SRT8 forum.
