Seeing how a lot of us, and I'm sure more in the future are and will be runnin the S/C's, I assume you carry the oil for the Vortech S/C's and others? Do we have to use the oil that is required by the company, or are all the oils pretty much the same? If we were to buy a couple of bottles.... say a group buy..wink, wink... I'm assuming it doesn't "go bad" too soon if we buy a lot?
Grandpa you must have been reading my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was wondering the samething. I can't believe I'm starting to think cracker:sweat:
Since the question was direct towards the "vendor" and NOT a general S/C question, this thread has been moved to the BMC forum. :smart:
We're gonna get rid of that tan yet! Bla...bla...bla... whatever... I ment for it to be "out" to anyone, but Hemi was chewing on my arm and it's hard enouh to type with two fingers, much less with a 165 pound beast on your arm...
ummmm yea maybe you should keep your sex play with your dog to yourself. lol This is a semi family orientated forum... That and Ryan and Jason will get MAD because they never thought of dog sex before... bwahahahahahaha
I will see what we can find out! The V3 is a new line for Vortech so we haven't dealt with the internal oil before, all the old apps tapped the oil pan as you know. Lisa will find out from Vortech.
I can just see Momo standing over Ron strapped to a bed like Misery with a sledge hammer.... but in this case, Jason will have a jar of KY Jelly!!!
My bad.... I was going to go with the standard 55 gal drum and the side pump, but didn't want to hurt his feelings...
Seems he could just save the money and not buy the KY.... most of the guys down in Hillcrest say they can't feel him anyway... so no chance of friction unless he was to catch the edge of the sheet or something small...
Ah, that's what I was wondering Kris, when Drew mentioned a self contained unit it threw me since I know Vortechs tap into the oil pan for lubrication (that was why I chose a Paxton), now I know different. Learn something new here everyday!!
Yeah Vortech just introduced the V3 a few months ago with applications for the Mustang, and are expaniding the lone to cover other models, they are still making the old style as well. The LX kits will have the V3 as standard equipment. It is nice to have this option, and it makes install much easier. Many people over the years were swayed from buying Vortech becasue they didn't want to tap the oil pan..now that isn't an issue!
