Fuel system for Superchargers

I'm just a little curious what fuel system everyone is running on there sup ercharger setup and how confident the feel about that system. GS shoots thru the intake. Thats a no no . Vortech doesn't clarify what size injector just high flow OEM injector. What is that ? and a voltage increase so your fuel pumps work harder. How about if it's not design to work harder for a long period of time and just quits one day when your getting on it. What happen now you lose a motor? Just a little curious what everyone is running before i choose my fuel system route.

 

I am planning on SRT4 stage 2 injectors with either a boost a pump or upgraded pump to maintain volume.

 

The Vortech kits use a boost-a-pump.

 

What size are those injectors and how many pounds of boost is that system good for ?

GS does not shoot through the intake anymore (not since diablo was released), they use the blue srt neon (stage 2, I think) mopar performance injectors. The stock fuel pump seems to be ok to about 500 rwhp..

 

That's what a boot-a-pump is. It increases the voltage to your stock fuel pump to increase output.

 

Actually GS no longer uses aux injectors and piggy back ECU. All is done with larger (8) injectors and Diablo tuning.

As for my fuel system, Blue Cap injectors and MSD Boost-A-Pump. Been running the MSD for well over a year and no issues.

all of our paxton kits are direct port injection and feature the newest novi 1500 self contained blower.

no oil lines
no fuel lines
new injectors (8)
diablo hand held


we have completed a lot of direct port conversions, I dont usally say to much because I am so busy but we just finished a customers 426 s/c kit, we also use a msd boost a pump on the big kits

check out the dyno on only 7lbs of boost

These were sold as 392 injectors I thought they were the same as SRT4 stage 1 but are the stage 1 blue

or did these take the place of the blue I think they have the same part #

Vortech tech said they replace the injectors with upgraded ones, not sure which ones though. Find out in less than two weeks!

Ask and ye shall recieve...the Vortech Injector ? was brought up last month and we found out the answer...the complete Vortech Kit will come with 50lb/hr (58psi static) injectors in the kit.

an 03 srt4 stock are pink
stage 1 are blue (stock on the 04-05)
stage 2 and 3 are black

 

Very nice numbers from 7psi of boost. So as for the boost a pump are you guys only running those on the big kit or all the kits.

 

Hey ron you still running the old novi 1500 setup or you got the one of those new self contained oil unit. BTW you got the part number on those blue cap injectors.

 

5-0 Motorsports lists part number 4891574AB (not AD) and the picture below for their 45# SRT-4 injectors. It looks like they're different injectors.
