P0302.... Misfire on Cylinder 2. It makes me so proud by baby is growing up, and now its time for me to buy new wires and coilpack Yeah not asking any questions today guys. :ilovesrtc:
Save money and start with the easy stuff first. Plugs then wires. One of the wires could of loosened up on the plug or the coilpack?
The stock coil pack can fail within 30-40k region and its usually where it fails. The most expensive part (component) within the ignition system (coil pack, spark plugs, spark plug wires) to figure out a misfire on these cars is the coil pack. I would just replace everything and call it a day. Its a good maintenance step anyways. So replace the spark plugs (gap them accordingly), replace the plug wires, replace the coil pack. I change my spark plugs every 2-3 weeks . Don't care if people think its a waste, these cars are known for misfires as much as they are prone to boost leaks. I change plug wires every 2 months I would say.
Oh and get those obscene gestures out of here :thongue2: This could be a good informative thread in the future
Spend about 4-5k in parts in 2 months, then come back and we will talk lol. S3 car got a lot of new goodies, some installed, some awaiting install still and some in transit.
Lol! Just don't think of what you have spent or are going to spend. Just do it and get it over with haha.
