Had a meeting at Nationwide yesterday with our sales rep for our season tickets. Our 20-game (half-season) seats are ready for us, but he showed us what else is available. ....bastard..... Section 105, Row F, Seats 1 & 2. Now, rows A, B & C are removed. For THE BENCH!!! Seats 1 & 2 are on the aisle. The aisle = center ice redline! We'd be sitting a little higher up than our old seats, but get a MUCH better view of the entire game. The downside is the cost. It's about 2.5x as much as our half-season tickets. BUT..... We get: - Same 2 seats to all 45 home games. - A parking spot! - First in line for playoff tickets (with the half-season seats, we get every other home playoff game). - First in line for pre-sales of other events at Nationwide (concerts, monster trucks, etc.) BEFORE Ticketmaster or anyone else gets them. - A buy-back program that lets you sell your seats back to Nationwide for games that you aren't able to attend. They credit our account whether they sell them or not. What's the vote?
Wow. Am I the only person here who likes hockey? I thought we had a bunch of Canadians up in here......
Nope... im a HUGE caps fan... im still pissed about the Philly series... I love hockey actually is a great sport to watch live..... it sucks on tv
But you have A.O.!!! http://youtube.com/watch?v=1sNxKhB71X0 Keith- I'll put it in terms you'll appreciate: - Imagine going from random Horseshoe seats over in the corner, to 50 yd. line, 3 rows behind Tressel.
IIRC, that's the hit on John Madden from the NJ Devils. They show it again at 1:30 in that video. A definite bell-ringer.
I'd take the better seats for the whole season. I don't do sports much. Ever since free agency, they've been businesses not sports IMHO. My son-in-law Todd has season tickets for the D-Backs, Coyotes, Cardinals, and goes to see the Suns 8 or 10 times a year. He does take Tina to all the D-Backs, and Coyote games. She does none of the Cardinal games, and a couple of the Suns games. He plays racketball and does at least 18 holes of golf a week too.
That's the other thing: This is our entertainment. We don't go out to dinner a lot, no major vacations/trips, etc. Rachel enjoys the games as well...and ribs Nash harder than the press. It's something we can do TOGETHER.
Kym- if you're a REAL fan, you would have gotten the micro-jerseys (namely Super Joe's) that McDonalds-Canada was selling a few years ago....and tried to put it on your prairie dog for a photo.
Not unless you moved from Wrongmont. I scored the micro-jerseys from a friend of mine up in Toronto. NAFTA FTW! LOL
yea well im still here............and unlike you I dont have a friend up there that could get me one so now you must give me yours.....
I would trade 2 seasons worth of tickets to sit on the glass just once at the Joe to see my beloved Red Wings kill the Crapalanche  For that matter I would give my right nut for that LOL....Nice Kevan I used to have season tickets to the Tacoma Sabrecats and that was awesome....
money should be spent on the truck first tickets after hahaha. Man do whats going to make you happy you only live once right.
Pulled the trigger last week and got the seats. I'm very excited. CORRECTION: they're in section 104 (not 105 as stated in my original post).
