C'mon John, show a little compasion. You know Momo really wants the bling that everyone else has but... well, you know :weep:. You might have told a little white lie like "I wanted the satin finish too but they told me they were out of them and I'd have to wait 2 months if I didn't want a polished one so I had to throw away the extra $400 on polish I don't need and didn't want".

What's even funnier, is that if I had more money, I'd be doing more visual mods myself; but for now, I gotta prioritize! Although, I'd love a set of "Five G's" in that brushed finish!!! Woohoo, those are NIIIIICE! Pair that up with some KW's and silver brake calipers... umm... umm... umm... monochromatic madness! Everyone can dream, right?!?!

"THE SHOW" can't be kept up with. Its like a freight train out of control and barreling towards the Town of Insanity.

    Exactly!

"THE SHOW" isn't a person or thing... its more like a living mechanical concept, a blend of man, machine and the realm of thought... it is continually being forged into reality... a never ending journey into "modness".

How about this for speculation on why. They're introducing a new product. Instead of pushing the edge they decided to take the approach of going more towards the "bullet proof" side. Another thing is that our engines/PCM seem to be much more sensitive to heat than others. They might have figured they'd eliminate a whole lot of tuning and/or tuning variables and risks by trying to keep temps the same or as close to normal as possible? Squeezing some extra profit margin by throwing in a secondary part doesn't make sense when you're entering a market.

I was hoping you'd pipe in, lol! Agree except ... Vortech's not exactly new, they've been making blowers for 20 years and make one for just about every car out there now, they're not new to the market. Maybe new for SRTs but that's only in tuning, they've already got all the parts. I can understand the "playing it safe" issue and yes it's obvious our cars are sensitive to heat so I see why they're putting it out with a cooler but I still say 5 lbs boost is very low and doesn't produce that much heat, they're doing it for money too. I tell you, they've been around long before our SRTs and will be around long after our SRTs, don't think they're too worried bout our market especially since our cars our limited in numbers.

Maybe even more reason to be extra conservative. Low volume, small potential market == larger risk to reward. They fail or get bad publicity on our solution and it impacts their entire business.

and the tuning is kind of an important component right?

I think he stated 5.5. But if I wan't to up the boost later on with a pully change or something, the cooling properties will be a bonus.

Sorry buddy, didn't mean to do that. Actually 115 horse at the wheels is pretty awesome, i still think that's an aweful lot for only around 5 lbs of boost. And you're def right about needing that cooler if you up the boost, that's a must. I like you're thinking!!

You'll def want to keep an eye on not only your AFR but also your fuel pressure, I'd recommend a gauge for that too. I have 3 on my Mustang (actually 4), 3 a-pod gauges (fuel pressure, water temp and boost) and a stand alone A/F meter on the dash. Just suggestions.

I was wanting to stay with two, A/F and fuel, to keep the pillar as small as possible, hard to see around it as it is, but I might need three...
