Went racing on Friday and Saturday.
Friday we had a SRT get together at Edgewater Dragway. 10 SRT's attended.

    EricG 300C
    Jeremy PPP 300C
    Chris Charger
    Mark Charger
    Tom 300C
    4 Neon's

    Traction was terrible
    Could only run 12.20 with 1.89 60ft
    115.05 MPH New Best
    DA was 685
Even though I was disappointed with the track prep.....we had a GR8 time!
    ----------------------------------------

Saturday I went to Tri-State Dragway
    DA was 632
They are having a Big "3 Day" bracket race this weekend, so I knew the track would be prepped good. I didn't find out till I got there, that it was a 1/8 mile race.
I checked all my time slips from the last 8 months and for my car the average 1/8 mile to 1/4 conversion is 1.5493
My best run was 7.72 New Best
    7.72 x 1.5493 = 11.96
    1.76 60ft New Best
5.01 330ft New Best .24 better than Friday
    12.20 - .24 = 11.96
My best MPH for the day was 92.00 New Best
    I'm very happy!

I talked to JMatt on the phone last week and he predicted I would run 11.96 this weekend. I wish they would have prepped the track Friday and the race Saturday would have been run on the 1/4 mile instead of 1/8 mile.

    Nice Job Mike!

Wish I could have made it, but I raced Thursday. Bought a car Saturday. Sold a car Saturday. In-laws are in town.

Way to much for me to get out for yet another day of racing. I'm trying some new parts here on Thursday (and a new car as well). We'll see what happens. This is about my last chance before Columbus to get it right.

Traction was really tough and I ran a best of [email protected], and that was with a 60 foot of 2.054. My worst of 9 runs was 13.091 and my lowest trap was 109.74 so I was happy. I had some fun kills that night, muscle cars, to ricer specials so I feel like my car is running strong for the mods. :)

And just to show that first time was not a fluke for Mike, here's a couple more runs from Saturday. Imagine an east coast DA of -1000 or even better! I think Mike definitely has a faster run in that car, so many people were coming up to us talking about how much they liked the Charger SRT8:worthy:

Wow, you can really see here how mismatched the paint is on my new front spoiler. No worries, it's going back in for a repaint in 10 days and a MOPAR dub grille is going on too!
