Well I went out tonight looking for some fun and low and behold I found some! Came up behind a Yellow SRT4 and followed him for awhile. I finally was able to get beside him to see if he wanted to play. Well after I jumped on it alittle he bit. He went by me in traffic and hit it pretty hard...it was definitely not stock. Well he slowed down and he and I lined up side by side going about 25MPH...I was in Drive and floored it and he did the same. My car jumped down to 1st gear and pulled him immediately by at least 1 car by the end of 1st gear and still pulling about another 1/2 or more by end of 2nd gear and then we had to slow down due to traffic ahead. I spoke with him afterwards and I asked him what stage he had. He told me his car was a stage III and that he was amazed I pulled him out of 1st gear. He was a pretty cool kid and told me that he thought he might've caught me if we went through 3rd and into 4th gear. I'm not sure about that, but I know the stage III cars are pretty bad. We never got that chance since he went a different direction not too much longer after that. I also came across a late 80's Mustang LX 5.0 with nice wheels and some sort of cowl hood and gauges on the a-pillar. We went at it from about 20MPH and I pulled him by at least 1 car through 1st gear and another 1 car through 2nd gear and then he backed off. I caught up with him and I asked him what he had in it. He had a bunch of bolt-ons on a stock heads and cam block, but with a Paxton supercharger on it. Not sure what boost he was running, but I figured he had the blower on it. I haven't come across too many 5.0 Mustangs that could hang with me like that without some major mods. Anyways fun times!!!!!!!!! I love spankin' people with my 4-door family car!!!!!!!Hahahahahaha

I don't condone street racing either!!!!!! Now that I've said that.....it was fun!!!!!!!! After I read your post I just thought about your one post about layin' some rubber with your wife and kid in the car. That's fun too!:grin:
i saw a red SRT-10 ram out tonight but he didnt even wave when i slowed down to let him get up next to me :weep:

If he was stock, then he was probably gun shy to run a SRT8. I've taken out a stock one pretty easily awhile back before my cam,tune and TC.
There is a guy around the SEAL Team area that I've seen with a SRT10 Truck. We passed each other by one day and I gave him a thumbs up...he just looked at me. A few months later I was talking to another SEAL buddy of mine who knows that guy. I asked him if he was "in" to modding his truck. He told me the guy just bought a truck and drives it and isn't "really" familiar with what he has. I thought "well that explains it"...but I was still pissed that the turd is a fellow SEAL and didn't even wave back. I should track the turd down and counsel him to pay respect to fellow SRT owners, and fellow frogmen! LOL
haha well it took effort on my part to get him to come near me...it was a QC so there was no way he woulda raced me...plus it was FILTHY! dude thats a double wammy right there lol
No....he's a frogman. It's a silver one and I confirmed where he is stationed....he's parked on the "wet side" for the past couple years at least.
steve - sounds like fun!!! i went up against a stage II skittle once and fricken DESTROYED the guy from a dead stop...... i lost track of the guy once i hit 80..... he catches back up at a light and we proceed to chat. he said he was ringing the car out for everything it had but said i just went away like he was tied down!!! cool kid as well!!!!
