So yesterday when we were at the Subaru dealer (which is also a ford dealer)...we saw some guy buy a nice shiny brand new Shelby GT500...

so i am watching the guy...and the guy goes for what looks to be a test drive with a salesmen....so they come back...shake hands...and the guy is off...

well he did in fact buy the car...and it wasnt a test drive...the salesmen went out to show him how to shift...

well as he was leaving on his own...i was listening to the car drive away and could just hear how he was not comfortable shifting at all in that car....

so we are doing our thing talking to our salesmen...then someone calls him over....

it was believed (but not confirmed...even though it HAS to be true)...that the man who bought the GT500...totaled the car right down the road from the Dealership....

such a waste of an awesome car....that guy needs to be beaten........

If you can't drive a stick, then use some freakin' sense and don't buy a car that's stick...specially a GT500!!! Sounds like he got one of those life's hard lessons...Jackass!!!!!!!

Tam....how does Maddy like the rumble of the Charger. When my daughter Gabrielle was a newborn she would fall asleep instantly to the sound of the Zoomers. Now she is almost 2 and loves for me to do burnouts and donuts in the car. She actually calls me "WEEEEE".

She calls me "WEEEE" because when I was gone for 3 months earlier this year my wife was driving the car and took a turn a little fast and Gabrielle said "WEEEE". A little later on during the drive Gabrielle said "WEEEE mamma WEEEE"....my wife said "NO Gabrielle, Daddy is goes WEEEEE, NOT me!" So, the nickname stuck and I've been called "WEEEE" ever since!

Yeah, Maddy only gets fussy in the car when we're not moving. Once I'm up to speed or even if I have to "establish dominance" in traffic, she's quiet. Marc says she's sleeping, so hopefully its a good thing and not a "oh god!" thing. :baby:

When I was a baby, Mom used to get around Tuscaloosa on a ten speed bike with a baby seat on the back. She used to worry about me back there until one day she heard me say "wheeeeee!" when she went down an incline.

Back on topic, I hope that fool with the GT 500 didn't pay a big mark up for a car he's going to trash in two seconds... I can't believe he actually came back for "lessons". Figure he'd be too ashamed/proud to admit he couldn't drive stick...
