I just drove to So.Cal and the ride was great! Very quiet on the highway, nice grip. I have noticed the sterring feels heavier but that probably more due to me going from a 245 to a 265 width. They are 265/35 and 295/30 and were $890 shipped to my door.

Besides, I was the one you showed the wheels to first and I TOTALLY got it back at Spring Fest. Figure in a few weeks, I'll be able to go out for lunch without serious panicking from Marc about leaving him with the baby. :baby:

I gotta say it. That is by far, without a doubt. The cleanest 300 I've seen. We share a very similar taste. Simple, clean touches. Your car is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. I can't even put it into words. Those wheels are purrrrrrrrfect. You have done an amazing job with that sled. Keep up the great work.

Ray....does it feel heavier once you get going? I have 275's up front and it is definitely heavier when I'm under about 10 mph's....above that and I don't notice a difference other than being stickier.

I noticed I had to pay more attention to the wheel to keep in the center of the lane. At higher speeds, it's not heavier but the tracking is different. Not bad, just different.

very nice Ray. Looks like I will be going the V's this nest time around. I love the pirellis, but at 600 a tire, they are not worth it. They only last about 15K miles...

Wow, $600 per tire?!?! It must be nice to have Ron money. That's the price of 3 Vreds. So far I'm very impressed with these tires. The ride quality is excellent and from what I can tell so far, the grip is too. I can't really thrash them around with the family in the car for the weekend. I mentioned earlier that the steering was a little heavier but this morning I bumped the air pressure up from 32 to 36 lbs and the heavyness is gone.
