Coming home from picking up dinner this evening, I am at a light, in front of me is a 350z, dark gray in color. Occupied by a lone male driver. I barely take notice.

As we reach the apex of the left turn from Eastlake Pkwy onto Olympic, he gets on it a bit. I respond with a 33% throttle. He slows, I pass him by.

I look to my left and he's right there now! Obviously looking for a run. He gooses it, then nails it, I drop down a couple gears at around 50mph.

All I know is he was about 40 yards behind me in about 3 seconds. I slowed, he came up looking at me like "WTF"?!?! Kind of like a snotty, asswipe kind of look, not a 'wow, that thing is fast' look.

Oh well, easy kill for the month.

With or without the vinyl decals?

Jeff, I have no pride left... my wife took my debit card... actually, I got so pissed at her that I chopped it up in front of her face last night... but you get the point.

Nice kill bro!! Something's odd tho, your car ... it just seems extra fast for what mods you got you know? Seems you beat up on a LOT of cars that some of us have trouble with (not me of course, lol!) Either you got a real strong motor or you're a great driver. I'll choose the first, hahahahhaha!

    Again nice kill bro!!

The last time you and beer were even mentioned in the same sentence, Ryan woke up with taco-bits and shit stains on his chest.

    Hey, he started it!

You know, I've wondered at least 4 times about that myself. Cobra Mustangs, that Porsche 911 GT and the Lambo (loss, but held my own).

One Cobra broke traction, I only squeeled and subsequently took him.

Other Cobra was playing, but totally backed down when I laid a foot long patch at about 30mph during a 3500 rpm launch in 1st. He bowed-down (literally gave the thumbs up and SLOWED down).

The Porsche GT, I have no idea. I remember looking at the stats for the car, and his 0-60 was about the same as mine (according to onboard computer - in the 4.4 range). We went from a slow roll. I had the lead and slowed at around 80ish as did he... he would've caught up had we both kept on it, that I know, but for that moment in time, he was dumbfounded... and I had won.

Lambo: Like I said, he beat me, but I was on his ass and THAT freaked his pompus ass out.

My car is a bit slower than Ricks after 70-80, somewhere around the same as Drews (maybe faster, maybe slower), and Ryan can't drive worth a fuck, so there's no need bashing him... I don't pick on retards.

Actually, Drew raced a new GT500 and lost by maybe a bumper. Drew's a solid racer and he gave props to the GT500 owner for driving well too.

Typically, I launch well... but, I'm no expert by any means.

So... I don't know what to say. Its all inconclusive.

    Wooohoooo! You beat a 350Z!

Do you run track against amputees and then gloat about the win then too? Unless that Z had a turbo, you were never in danger.

I didn't even pay attention to the guy until he prompted the race himself... I was just trying to bring dinner home.

I give it about 2 to 3 days before my rear axle passes me on the street.

Hey, in defense of Momo a kill is a kill is a kill, so what if it's a little guy, if he ASKS for it you give it to em, lol!! If they want a spankin, I for one give it to em no matter who they are (settle down guys, that wasn't an open invitation ... Momo, put down the whip, lol!). Didn't you guys see my "Bully" thread, I spanked a BMW Z3 or 4 roadster something or other, whatever, and a new VW R32 back to back cause they ASKED for it. Hey, I don't discriminate, if the little guy wants a spanking I'll give it him! I'm an equal opportunity spanker.

WAY TO GO MOMO!!!!!! Nothing better than killling a guy that just DESERVES it huh!! (btw, I like the way you didn't bash Ryan above, nicely done, hahahahhahahaaa!!!!)

    Thanks!

I kind of feel the same way. I wouldn't call beating a Honda Civic a kill, a 350Z, I do, although I wouldn't 'log' it into memory. However, it really depends on the opponent's attitude, IMO. If they guy driving a 1986 Chevette is a douche and you whoop him, so be it. I won't brag about it, but I'll sure as hell tell all of you boys!

That reminds me of a story.

A friend in highschool had a Chevette. What a total POS! One day, we're leaving this parking lot when his car goes haywire... bucking, sputtering, etc. As we slow down, 'somethings' roll out from under the car and actually pass us... his transmission literally fell to pieces... and what I believed to have been gears... were the things that rolled out from under his car.

That was one time I had an internal conflict... to laugh? or to sigh with my friend?!?! I laughed my ass off so hard... that is until I realized it was wintertime in Buffalo, NY, and we'd have to walk to get help (yes, back then, cell phones didn't exist to poor folk). Ah... the good ole days...
