    1. We start by inspecting and disassembling the shortblock core
    2. Hot tank the block and remove all liquid contaminents

    9. Bore cylinders

    12. Hand Clearance for Stroker Kit
    13. Balance rotating assembly(we do not depend on factory balance)
    14. Install Cam bearings
    15. Remove all flashings
    16. Chafer all 90 degree corners
    17. Radius bottom of all cylinder bores
    18. Maintain .0625 chamfer radius throughout oil system
    19. Micro-polish all bearing surfaces including wrist pins
    20. Micrometer measurement of all bearing surfaces

What is the difference between this shortblock and the one that is on sale for $4802?

Andy - don't forget my build. Will that K1 crank and rods do what we need for my build?

If you want a 4.080 stroke it will, but I am using a 3.795 stroke in yours, but I do have some 1200hp H-beam rods coming for your build as opposed to the 800hp I-beam rod.

The $4802 block is made by Indy which is the same block we have in our car currently. The Indy block uses Compstar 4.050 stroke, Compstar H-Beam rods, Mahle Coated Pistons.
