    the thing is, 900 bucks is cool and all, but if i am gonna pay that much, i might as well dish out the extra for AEM, you know what i mean...

    I just want to be happy with my little SAFC2 and a reflash...

    the fact that they say that there is a limiter at all disturbs me, kinda like they dont know what they are doing

    they know what they are doing...a lot of folks are having good results with the reflash... and 7k limit is obviously your rev limiter which is fine by me...dont want to rev past that on stock cams at all :D Safety Son!

    no the speed govenor deal, the 4's pcm doesnt have one to begin with so why would they add one?

    I had the B&G stage 3 track flash on my former SRT8...I really liked it..car shifted like a muscle car should..the trans was more aggressive and the power was :eek:k:...

    But I would get a tuner...especially with FI, if I were doing it today...just werent no tuners back when I had the car..

    plus i dont think the flash and the safc are gonna play nice, you are still going to have timing problems

    I don't have a Neon anymore, so I don't pay much attention to things that just came out, but I would definitely suggest looking into the price of tuning an AEM. They run like 2k (as I remember it) and tuning it can be upwards of another 1k. Just food for thought .

    there are a few aem tuners in town that charge much less, but still the sct has comparable tunablity and costs much less.

    I like the idea of the lower temp fan on. I would love for my fans to kick on alot sooner.

    The SCT device is $500 or so,,, unless you get the "Pro racer package"

    AJ Berge (A&A Motorsports) and I are working on mine now,,,
    right now we moved rev limiter to 6500,, MPH to 150,, timing is 15 deg above 4500,, TQ management is tamed some.

    He is setting the PCM to go WOT tables at 50% throttle,, to make tuning a little easier, and removing WOT delay. We are tuning with the e-manage, then transferring that tune to the SCT,, I am keeping the e-manage for fine tuning.

    Oh for those who don't know,, I am running a PTGT, built bottom end, head work, 50trim. We dynoed it a few weeks ago, at 15psi it did 299 and 299,, timing went to 30 deg advance so we stopped untill the SCT was figured out, and got the timing under control.

    This is what I'm worried about! I want to be able to rev out my motor more, but also be able to tune it too. I dont know how the 2 will do together.

    Isnt Diablosport working on something for you guys??If thats the case i would wait for them.My B&G is now a 500+dollar paper weight..I am really happy with the DS..
    Not to mention there great customer support

    Diablo is currently working on a tuner for the 4's.

    SCT already has a tuner available for the 4 and 10's, and currently working on a tuner for the 8's.

    Dysphagia, I don't want to piss you off. But the SRT4 does have speed limiter it is set from the factory at 158 MPH.. If you don't want to belive that and you know more than I do since I have been tuning all DCX products for years now including the SRT4.. Ask someone who has the SCT SRT4 Tunning package and have then verify that..Hope this helps.

    My comment: Yes, it does. Stage 1 has a higher rev limiter then stock, Stage 2 has a higher rev limiter then Stock and Stage 1, Stage 3 has a higher rev limiter then Stock, Stage 1, and Stage 2.

    Your saying that the SRT-4 doesn't have a governor meaning there isn't a stopping mph?

    My comment: Yeah some said they have got past 158mph by what maybe 3-4 mph difference which could of played a fact on the rim/tire they used which throws off your speed-o-meter. That and if your doing it down an incline/slop. This has been proven.

    As far as SCT, SCT is still in its "learning" process as far as the SRT-4. People are testing it as well as coming up with better maps for it since some of the preloaded maps aren't the greatest. So SCT being so new in the SRT-4 community I would wait until its actually got enough knowledge base. Don't get me wrong SCT is great and all for other vehicles but I'm waiting to see the results on the SRT-4. Do you have SCT flash? If you don't and haven't dealt with it on the SRT-4 then I wouldn't recommend it to someone unless you've had experience with it on the SRT-4. I'm not talking about other cars. Each car is different. But just because its the "new" thing within the SRT-4 community, doesn't mean its the greatest. Me saying this is not to offend anyone who does have it. Because I am interested in the SCT. But this is just a new "hype" just like Stage 3 blew up and everyone started getting it or doing hybrid setups in the last few months.

    We have the B&G reflash and it works seamlessly with our D-tec fcbc piggyback the extra 1000k is awesome and look at our sig for the times we run with it
