Now, to answer your questions and perverted statements: I was lucky enough to be on a list at Vortech for research and development of their blower for our cars. I got a great deal and could not pass it up. Basically, this is the story: You all know my non-modding history. 2 Weeks ago, I got a deal on hiflow cats, and had them installed. Then this opportunity came up. I need to have stock cats in order to take advantage of this deal (R&D). Hence why I needed the stock ones again. I tossed my originals, as I figured I'd never need them plus, where was I gonna store them (small SOCAL home)?!?! I didn't have the $ to get this deal, but, my family came through for me... basically, the $ is from when my Dad passed in December 2005. My Dad was a Dodge guy. He once owned a 1964 Plymouth Fury Sport, even bought the first generation Minivan for the family. He would have LOVED our SRT8's if he was here to experience them. So, although I will be re-funding the fund, over time, where this $ is coming from, my Dad made this possible and I hope he'd be proud of my car once its finished. I also want to thank all of you that took the time to respond/PM me... all of you guys rock and are always there to help... and bust my balls. Your support and friendship is not forgotten... just ask lead-foot Moe!

I assume it would be fruitless to ask for any sort of technical details? Like what kind it is? Where it's mounted? How much boost or HP they're expecting?
i was pretty much thinking the same thing....i was wondering how much boost they will run w/out a forged engine to test on?
Heh, it says currently testing 2007 - 2008 vehicles and it's already available for 2005-2006 vehicles. Have we heard about that? AND they're planning to go for emissions certification?
Well, its not quite available for 2005/2006 yet. The hardware is ready, the tuning is being worked on. Give it a couple more weeks till they start shipping.
***Thanks Adam for posting the link. I'm going with the satin finish. I'm not a big 'looks' guy, and saving the extra $$$ means new tires, which I'll need soon. The looks may come later, and I could have Drew's kids fingerpaint the blower/intercooler to match his paintjob.
Wow, that is sooooooooooo awesome for Jason, if anyone really needed something like this it was him, what a deal! All that time trying to decide what mods to get and really wanting the i-charger and then to have this happen, don't you all just love it when things go right for good people!!!
