I counted 8 total, 3 in the dash, 2 on the front doors, 2 on the rear deck and the subwoofer that makes 8. Where are the remaining 5?
Yea, they count 2-way speakers as 2 seperate speakers, unbelievable. Like Milan said, we got jacked, lol!!
All the car manufactures do this not just DCX. You can have a 3-way(speaker that is) that they count as 3 speakers...lol. Oh well, its still sounds impressive though. Hey baby look at me...I've got 13 speakers in my car. You wanna..........:huglove:
3 each in-dash: 3.5" two way (Poly cone with 13mm dome tweeter) 6 speakers total 2 each front doors: 6 x 9 woofer (long throw poly cone, large magnet) 2 speakers total 2 each rear shelf: 6 x 9 two-way (poly cone and 1" dome tweeter) 4 speakers total 1 each 10" subwoofer, trunk (200-watt) = 1 speaker total "9"="13". Just be glad they don't use the same math to compute HP!
3 in the dash? What am I missing. I could swear I have 2 - 3.5's in the dash. Where's the third? .........and yes they count it as a woofer and tweeter separately.
if you have a 300........ i think the newer cars have a third "center" chanel speaker in the dash as well. i know my 06 charger has "11"..... only two dash speakers....

Yeah but us 300's get the shaft with the 100 watt sub. Not sure if the 200 watt sounds way better but ours sucks lol
