I think with the RIGHT cam and RIGHT tune plus any aftermarket CAI you can get the 400 AWHP (I'd rather see it on a AWD Dyno) now you may need to add headers to get the full use of the cam but I think our headers are pretty darn good from the factory plus they are a PITA to take off and put longtubes on.

I would say that you will need a set of heads to hit 400 AW....Though it would probably be border line either way

Andy has headers, ported intake, bwoody, catback, thermo. And he is right at 400.

Wade was saying that with just a good tune, good cam and intake you could hit 400. I dont think your going to get there with only those 3 mods unless you have heads as well......it may be possible, but much easier with heads. Also we have to remember Andy is RWD not AWD

I still don't know why everyone is SO hell bent on fricken dyno numbers? Dyno's are for TUNING only...

I agree. I'd rather spend the couple hundred bucks it takes to put the car on the dyno and do something else with it...like help payoff the mods I just put on!Lol As far as tuning goes, I felt pretty confident that the CMR tune Josh wrote didn't need any further tweaking on a dyno.

The 400 mark, to me, is basically a goal. Once you hit 400 AWHP in these trucks they get almost perfect. Then anything over the 400 mark is just more fun....So its really not a game of "I have more HP than you" but more or less a goal to make the truck really what a person wants. I would recommend that anyone who has a 6.1 try and get to the 400 mark, it makes the ride so much more fun....

As long as you did all the proper data logging and got your AF perfect. A good email tune is pretty damn close to a CMR Dyno tune. No idea how hot HHP tunes are as I have never had one...

I agree Ron 100 %,i was just giving a round about number and what kind of mods it would take to reach it.I am doing a cmr tune though so im going to be on a dyno anyhow.Just a few more days and the ole Bee will be almost finished up.Im looking forward for that drive its going to bee a little bit scary.
