Hi Dave, question. I'm thinking bout going to the Predator only I'm EXTREMELY happy with my B&G Stage II currently so I've been delaying. I have to say, the Stage 2 is great, exactly what I was looking for but eveyone heckles and harrasses me to get the Pred, lol! Anyway I understand that when I get the Pred it'll need to update the PCM and at the same time will wipe out the Stage 2 flash, is that right cause I don't want to lose it? Sorry to ask a dumb question but I've been reading posts here and there and did check your website but I'm not sure what to do. I'd like to keep the Stage 2 tune in case I want to change back to it from one of the Pred's canned tunes, can I do that with the Pred?? I think I read somewhere that I'll need to send the PCM to you to be updated and reflashed first before getting the Pred so I can save the Stage 2 tune, is that right? And what do you charge for that?? Time frame?? Again, sorry for the dumb questions but I've read all I can read and decided to finally go straight to the source for answers, you! Scott, This is gonna go down one of 3 ways. 1.) The B&G is recent enough that the predator will recognize it and then you will be able to save it to your computer before you update your PCM. 2.) It wont be readable and therefore you will lose it with the update. 3.) Buy a new PCM and use it for the Diablo stuff and save your B&G as a back-up PCM. I have a feeling option 1 may work as Ive seen it work with Daves tunes in the lst month or so. Good Luck!
Scott, you can install the predator, and once it makes a backup of your pcm, you can email me the file and I will convert it to the stage II tune.
THANKS guys, I appreciate the lightening fast replies!! I have my stock PCM untouched in a box and have the Stage 2 flash on a spare and that's the only one I want to use. Ok, so I'll get the Pred and let it do it's backup and then send you the file Dave and you'll put the Stage 2 back on, do I got that right?? Charge??
