I'm debating on changing out my stock NAV/Sirius/6 disk din stereo for a Kenwood DNX7100. I was told I will lose my center speaker, blue tooth and steering wheel controls. I will be able to get them back, but it will cost extra.

I really want the Ipod hookup, so I can listen to my tunes. I'm debating on the DVD for the kids, but they aren't in my ride as often as mama's ride.....I've heard the Ipod hookup through the cig lighter sounds like chit!

What setups have some of you guys done and say YEA/NEA on???????

Ya, his is pretty nice. They have an adaptor that allows you to keep your wheel controls as well. I'll try and find the post.

ryan - i did exactly what rons link was about. i swapped out the stock main amp for the upgraded 368 8channel digital amp (mopar supercenter), then replaced the sub and sub amp with a kicker zx400 amp and an L7 sub. i was able to hook everything up into the stock points and the sound difference is huge. as for ipod, not sure on that, but if you want a very good sounding set up, without breaking the bank, this is a pretty slick route to go. all told, i did not spend any more than 600 bucks.

    Thanks Chris,

I will probably go that route to save $ on the deck I'm looking at..... I still want the iPOD cable, but they don't have one for our stock decks and I was told they won't be making one........I was also told not to bother with the cig lighter hookup waste of money and the sound quality is crapola...........................:book:
