FWIW let me get this out of the way first ... I NEVER run when it's unsafe even the slightest!! If there's even ONE car up ahead I won't go. And I NEVER get much above 50 (that's usually all it takes anyway, lol!) unless I'm on the X-way or the hwy, and even then I usually shut down well before 100 if not sooner. I WOULD NEVER RACE THRU CROWDED ROADS ENDANGERING OTHERS LIVES, that's a promise!! I have 2 kids of my own and as a parent I would never EVER put other families at risk. Ok all?? That being said the M whatever Roadster was from a light up to just after I shifted to 2nd, that's all it took, so I didn't go that fast AND the street was clear ahead. The VW was on the x-way with a looooooooooong straight ahead and not a car to be seen. Again from a light, I let him take off first (those awd suckers are quick) then after a sec I hit it from a roll and immediately caught him and blew past after which I immediately shut down, that's all he needed to see (and hear, lol!). Prolly didn't get much over 60 or so. See, safe ... relatively speaking, hey, I'm no angel and I didn't buy this car for gas mileage, lol!
