I've been taunting anything that looked even remotely fast and haven't even got a nibble. Finally today without warning it happened: I'm rolling left lane, typical 70 freeway speed when a blue 2000ish F-body comes onto the freeway. I'm watching for him to show up in the rear view and just as I see the back of his car, I can see him nail it. The jump gets him about half a car on me. Wasn't long and I put a car length on him and was starting to really leave him behind around 135 when I shut it down. Of course afterwards the guy wouldn't pull up next to me for a thumbs up, when I exited he just stared straight ahead looking kind of pissed.
What a loser, I hate it when guys do that. Win or lose I always pull up to shoot the shiat after, it's all in good fun!! Congrats on the kill bro, I can't believe it's your first one though, get out there and represent!!
I've been trying! I've made some trips up to GSM and back. Ran across a SL 55, GTO's, 7 series BMW out on the San Onofre autobahn and NOTHING. There's the usually ricers carving through traffic at 110 but nothing worth spooling up for. I guess having 3 SRT8 badges on the car might be scaring the fish! :towel:

I was getting my exhaust repaired a few weeks ago and a kid with Nissan was at the shop staring at my car as they backed it out. He looks over at me, then back at the car. He asks, "Do you run that thing at Qualcomm (our local drag strip)?" I told him I do on occasion. He looked back shaking his head and all he said was, "That's one fast, big car."

Used to get races all the time, before people knew what SRT stood for. Now, not so much. At least around where i live.
Actually just the other day I had 2 evos and an sti back down in the same day. Thought that was kinda odd since those little buggers are pretty quick. I usually look for gtos, vettes, mustangs and the like and usually ignore the ricers but now that I think about it maybe it was the SRT badge talking huh?? Oh yea!!
I had to have a GTO owner trolling on a Charger forum set up a race for me at Milan. I said that I'd never raced a goat before, and he called in a few friends - the thundering herd. I went past the finish line first, but his ET was better than mine - real freaking close.
