I agree with CA Congressman Julio Jalapeno Juarez in saying the BORDER FENCE HAS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go where I don't know, but it does have to go................

The freedom of crossing the border North or South would allow both countries to flourish.

Americans would be allowed to drink all the beer they want, hit on our Hot Spanish Fly Women, Act like idiots, get suckered into bars by border brothers the height of Jason, but speak better Englissssssss, bicker over a $2 item that would cost $20 in the US, eat what they think is real meat tacos, pay Julito to watch their car while they are in the bar:suspect:, buy all the cheap ceramic crap we don't want in Mexico to only take it home with them and actually believe us when we tell them they can take as much liquior into the US as they want. WAIT AMERICANS ALREADY DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mexicans on the other hand without a fence would now be allowed to freely enjoy the Estados Unidos. We could now work at McDonalds, Juan-In-The-Box, Carlitos Jr, Buger King, stand proud outside Home Depot/Lowe's/Dixieline/Ace, our children could go to an outstanding high school or university and get a fair shake at a becoming a positive influence in the community, we wouldn't have to leave all the boxes from new items we buy from Targeeeeeee, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Big Lots, 99 cent store and Longs Drugs in the parking lot in order to fool the Mexican Customs so they won't charge us duty on new items bought! No box it must be used LUCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our children would be born US Citizens and have dual citizenship in Mexico, so they can have their cake and eat it too. We can drive Mexican plated vehicle's, so when we get in an accident or ticketed by your CEEEEEEEHP we can leave our car in Mexico and carpool to Home Depot...........

The truth be told this can be a touchy subject on both sides of the border. I hear and understand both sides of the issue. The only thing that drives me nuts are people who don't live in border states all have an opinion even though most have never been to Mexico much less the border. Everyone has the right to their opinion, but you should at least know what your talking about. I was born in San Diego and have lived 27 of my 34 years here in San Diego County.

hahaha...its just a rough argument to make as you so rightly pointed out either way you see it...

i believe (like you) that it has its positives but negatives as well...while i do not live in a border state i live in an area of NY that has a large "undocumented" population and again...there are positives and negatives...

I'm too ignorant on this subject to make a valid point...the media has saturated me with negativity and the downsides...living in Canada and having worked for a Health Care Fraud Investigation Unit (we have public health care for those not in the know)...I use to see Americans (coming to Canada on American Holidays when they had the day off lol) trying to register for health care, often with false documentation. It's unfortunate that many were very sick....very old....often terminal. I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO SEE EVERY AMERICAN GET PUBLIC HEALTH CARE.

NY state is trying to implement something...nobody really believes its going to work though haha...

the problem is is that the insurance companies will most likely be forced to provide their services at a lesser price and at a higher quality...which hits them where it hurts...which is why its such a pain in the ass...

i know one of the reason that "undocumented" people living in our area are causing such an uproar with the locals is that essentially, they are getting "free health care" being paid for by our taxes...there has been a lot of news stories (especially recently) about this topic...

one of the quotes that is made in these stories about "undocumented" people in the united states is that "the money you save having them do the work someone else would at a higher price you pay for in increasing taxes for programs designed to assist them". This makes sense to me in that they are not paying taxes as they are almost always paid off the books and so theres an increase in the number of people who need things like health care without increasing the amount of money collected to support them.

The two things that get to me about this subject is the not paying taxes, and the workers making no attempt to assimilate. I really do not mean to offend anyone by this, but the truth is, the areas that have a high population of the undocumented workers has significantly declined. It has taken towns that were at one point very nice, clean, and safe towns or areas and brought them down quite a bit. I would also like to see some of the workers learn basic English regardless of where they came from. If they are not planning on staying for the rest of their lives, i don't need them to be fluent. I would just like to see them to have the ability to have some basic communications, epically related to whatever they do.

Again, I do not mean to offend anyone and I apologize if i have, but this is the reality of what I see with my own eyes every day. It does get frustrating and some of the news stories I read can really upset you. Again, I don't think I am asking anything overly unreasonable when it comes to them. I also cant speak for other places in the country, just what I see in Westchester, NY.

So please, don't take offense to my comments. :friends:

:bang:there's so much to say about this and has been! there was a bill passed to build 854 miles of two tiered fence from Calif. to Arizona by may, in the next few days Presidente Bush will sign a bill that guts the bill that everyone wanted, and after only 5 and a half miles of fence were built! this new bill he's signing also sends over 1 billon dollars south of the border to help fight Cartel crime? while law enforcement down there helps the Cartels dig tunnels under the border. Something really has to be done, my oppinion is we need to change our government back to people who govern and serve. :help:

I wish their was truely an easier answer................

The tunnel they found in Tecate, CA had something like 10-15K lbs of marijuana in it. The next day the Police Chief of Tecate, MX was visited by some unidentified men and 50 bullets to the face and groin. I have no idea what should be done:zorro:

    Bro,

They have been trying to do that for years. I remember when they were building the most recent fence. They would stop for the night and come to work the next day and my cousins would already have some of the new bolts taken out..............No fence will hold us out damit!

i just want the people who come here to pay some taxes...and not make the towns they live in look like some hole in the ground run down town in BF nowhere mexico...as long as they are not a financial drain on me...i really dont care if theres a fence or if we stop people...

i dont think asking them to pay taxes like everyone else who is here, speak English, and assimilate in some way to the way we live in whatever area they happen to go to is too much to ask...

Believe it or not most of them do pay taxes! I didn't say all of them. The one's paying their taxes and trying to be a productive part of the US are pissed off at the people who are entering illegally and then taking their jobs, because they are willing to work for a lower wage.

As for pucking up a city..............Many cities in the US were pucked up way before illegals went to the far reaching parts of the US. Their are several minorities in the country that do a fine job of PUCKING up the city without us Mexicans lifting a finger..........................

like i said...i will limit what i say to what i see wiht my own eyes...

i cant say anything about if they pay taxes or not around here...

however, there are 4 areas around where i live that were very nice places BEFORE the illegals came...as more and more moved into the area more and more people moved out, now many businesses have closed and there is literally garbage on the streets and houses run down...the crime rate for these areas is ridiculous compared to the surrounding towns...for the first 15-20 years my family has lived in this area it has been a great place to live...but its going down hill fast and this is not a stereo type...it is because of the illegals...the worst part is...they wont even let the cops do anything about it...

like i said...i dont care if they are here...i just dont want them destroying my towns
