I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight. Got my NX nitrous kit coming in from Bwoody tomorrow, hopefully installed by the end of the night, and a blown something by 12 am. Just wondering if you guys have any good advice for me in terms of install, or using it or anything! I ordered the NX kit for the HEMI, the Gen X 2 kit (no idea what that is), and the FJO controller, along with some NGK 4306 colder plugs. Anything else i should need guys?

1 more Q, is this the only SRT related site you guys frequent? Seems a little slow around here.

    Thanks guys in advance guys!

Oh and 1 more thing. I'll be dynoing in 2wd mode before and after. Anything i should look for tuning wise? I already got that awesome write up by CentralTaxHemi to use for the 2wd dyno, so i should be set in that department.

Well - you may thing it's "slow" around here, but that's not the best intro to get you some quick help.

There happens to be a lot of knowledgeable people here. I'd suggest some people here may be the most knowledgeable SRT-8 people anywhere depending on your topic.

Perhaps I can answer some nitrous questions for you, but your original question was pretty broad. I could write a book.

Any particular questions you'd like help with?

Didn't mean to rub ya the wrong way. I don't believe i know you, but a bunch of the GC SRT8 guys were on another forum with me a few months ago, so they'll know what I mean. And you're correct about the knowledge here! I usually come here first if I got any tough questions.

I really know nothing about nitrous, never had it in a vehicle before. So i guess I'm just looking for any advice you would have when it comes to installing, or using it. Maybe some tricks or little pieces of info i should inform the tech guys with before they get going on it. Thanks in advance!

Oh and JMatt, it's actually a lot more busy than I initially thought it was! I just need to hit the 'NEW POSTS' button! Sorry bout that I was just reffering to the GC SRT8 section when I said things looked slow.

    No prob man.

My most important advice is to install a wideband O2 sensor and AFR gauge. I used the XD-16 kit from Innovate.

I think you'll be happy with the NX stuff. Be sure to test fire everything first. The easiest way to do that is to hold the nozzle into a 2 liter bottle and use a wire to complete the circuit just to verify the solenoids fire and fuel/nitrous spray.

The recommended jets will run your Jeep too rich. Start with the 75 shot. It'll be too rich. Go with the 100 nitrous jet, but leave the 75 fuel jet in. See what that does to your AFR.

Feel free to PM me any time with specific questions, but I also appreciate if you post the question in a thread like this so everyone can see my answers, and chime in with input of their own.

A second slower? We can get you there reasonably easily.

One step at a time though. I didn't just slap a big shot on and go....
