I have tried several tunes from several vendors and to be able to request a tune at 1pm on Friday afternoon and have it by 5pm to go racing was great the tune itself is the most aggressive feeling tune I have ever had. The Jeep feels like it is getting a small shot of nitrous when it launches I had several people tell me they could hear the front wheels bark a few times, the pedal is MUCH firmer no spongey feeling and it responds immediately. My A/F is dead on at 12.4-12.5 and KR is very low at 3 or less, its a whole new animal now-THANKS I would highly suggest any Jeep owner with mods similar to mine to try out the exact same tune that I have you will be amazed at the difference. I was cutting 1.87 60' with no gimmicks, no abs fuse pulled, no pushing the button on the dash, tire pressures were all at 34 PSI.
Email tune all I did was send him a base 93CAIPERF tune and he tweaked it from there and emailed it back and it was dead on. Call STU for more tuning details 512-964-7724 just make sure you have the latest 9r04 update that came out at the first of this month there is a new 93 tune in there that is pretty darn good for close to stock applications and his tuner tweaked it some
To reach our tuner for questions or for sending logs for tuning, please email him at [email protected] Jacob
To tell you the truth I was supprised it made that much difference. I was thinking that the 93 CAI diablo tune was going to be real close to start and there wouldn't be much left on the table.
The 93 CAI tune is really very solid. Most of the tweaks that are made on this one have to do with the little things that help get the car to "scoot"... some of the tweaks just are not appropriate for everyone...
Glad its workin out for you Wade. I have always liked Stu. I have never even met him but I just imagine him sitting at work tinkering with hemi's and thinking "how can I get this mofo to go faster". Truly a real motor head:bye:
The Hemi stuff is actually his 2nd Job that guy works all freakin day at one Job and then has to deal with us knuckleheads after work (and sometimes during)
Yup, ole stu has a day job being a rocket scientist. Goes home, changes into his other brown suite and hits the shop. :smart: And his tuner, OMG, you talk about a sharp guy. I got money says in short order he winds up being the premier tuner in the US. In the short amount of time he has been tuning with CMR, he's discovered things that no one has touched upon. :worthy:
Yeh I have a day job as a mechanical engineer that pays the bills. I'm just not at the quit the day job point yet. Things like medical insurance and retirement keep me punching the clock.
Also a reminder that all knuckleheads and gearheads in general can PM or email me for any questions and I'll be able to get ahold of Stu later in the day/night if needed to avert some volume from his PM's/emails etc. :thumb3: Jacob
