How do you bypass the governor?

The conditions were perfect, I got the ok from an unmentionable LEO and attempted to join the 175+ club, but the governor kicked in and bogged me down. What's a brother to do?

 

ask the governer if you can go faster, duh. if he says no, write your congressman.

 

You need to get yourself the Predator to go faster than that.

What governor are you talking about...do you mean your revs were maxed out? I am pretty sure we don't have any speed governor on our cars, the only think stopping you is aerodynamics, conditions and RPM's, I have heard of stock SRT8's going a bit over 175, but it takes ALOT of road lol

 

You should have made it to about 173 (I think you need more than 5 miles). We don't have speed govenors (there's some controversy about that). Maybe they've de-tuned the new ones? With the Predator you should have a better tune so you can go faster. Head wind? Bad gas?
