    What kind of cam do you have? I mean, on a Comp cam scale? Is it closer to a 273? I don't know, I just buy shit.

    For our motors, with stock pistons and our high compression the Comp 273 is a huge cam. The 268 is big, just not as tight as the 273.

    From everything I've seen, the HHP Stage 2 is a variation on the comp 273 grind. I believe their Stage I grind is off of the 268.

    Huh, at the Spring Festival Josh and Bruce told me its a comp 273 variant. Based on the power band, I'd bet its off a 273. The 268 falls off earlier than the 273.

    you may be right, maybe i misenterpreted. however i went to hhp w/my own 273 and josh said he wouldnt recommend it because it would run pretty rough (this was pre-predator days, i was getting a b&g) and that he recommended a stage 2 which is based off a 268. of course the power in my car doesnt fall off at all at the higher rpm's, it just gains and gains so maybe im just remembering wrong.

    :stupid::tooth:

    Hey Markus, the stage two is based off a 273. But HHP does have a cam that based off the 268. Both cams run a 117 LSA that plays real nice at idle.
