I don't like sunshine as a track to run on. I don't mind just going to watch though.

If Cheryl and I go to Sunshine its only to watch. We don't mind going if other people we know are going. Unfortunately this Wednesday we won't be able to. My brother is in town from the Coast Guard and will be leaving this week to be stationed out in Alaska for 3 yrs.

Thank you for the support! It was hard on my mom more then anything when he said he was joining, even harder when he went to boot camp. He just graduated from boot camp this past Friday and is in town for only a few days.

He didn't go into much detail on what he'll be doing, he mentioned something with police/law enforcement and being on a vessle/ship for search/seizing/rescue. I hope it works out for him as he is my only brother.

i wish anyone support that risk's their life to protect another good luck and a safe journey. i wanted to be a police officer but the stress it would put on my loved ones is not worth it to me. law enforcement, military, and so on. hopefully he puts his time in and comes home safely.

True, but you could practice your launches? :dunno2:

I always have fun, even when I go by myself its fun watching the other cars too and the bikes. Plus I think a friend might come out with his car too so its all good times.

Jason, You were talking about getting some everyone together for a charity event or for a good cause.

Well Saturday July 19th at Seminole Lanes it is the 2008 Pet Bowl. All funds raised from Pet Bowl will help the SPCA Tampa Bay continue to increase adoptions, provide emergency medical care for sick and injured strays, investigate suspected animal cruelty situations, educate the public on the humane care of pets and so much more!

It would be from 10:30 am to 2pm.

All team registration fees include three games of bowling, shoe and bowling ball rental- the third game will be Galactic Glow in the Dark bowling.
Each bowler will receive a Pet Bowl Shirt, free lunch and one free chance drawing ticket.
Each team will receiveone complimentary team photo.

We would have to raise $175 that is for a team of five bowlers. But if we have two teams that would be great. I know the price sounds high but it is for a good cause. And we dont have to put all the money in our selves, we can ask co-workers, family, friends and neighbors to sponsor us.

    Just a thought.

Sounds good, Cheryl. I'll see if I'm off on that day. Thanks for the info and I hope we can have at least one team of 5. A minimum of $35 per person for donations is very easy to do.
