Here are the timeslips and one of the videos from last week. Best run was [email protected] with a 60ft time of 1.670.

Car is a bone stock with the CIS Turbo kit set at roughly 6-7psi. All stock inernals, stock heads, stock cam, stock tires. Comments welcome.

Hey thats good info guys especially for us that use our Jeeps as DD. Those are impressive numbers and at a safe amount of boost for the stock internals

I will also add that the EGT's are the same if not less than stock. There is allot of question about a rear-mount turbo having a lag, check out that 60ft time and I think that helps answer the lag question, lol.

Yeah 1.670 is right in line with 11.4 runs on nitrous so your right lag, what lag?

Very impressive, especially considering the stock street manners and quiet exhaust. Nice job!

You can have a different cam in there with a SC or turbo. It makes no difference. The heads would also only help the turbo as they would not be restricting all the air that is being pushed in....

I would change the cam, but the heads/intake will be great.

The engine does not have to be forged, this Jeep and the 6 other cars all have stock motors. As long as you are keeping boost below 7-8psi, you should be fine as long as the tune isnt too radical.

    Agree COMPLETELY Andy.

However, if you want to maximize your boost... BUILD that bottom end. Lower the compression, add a nice custom ground cam and pump up the BOOST... hehe

    Great job PPP and CIS.

Wouldn't turbo lag be negated by pre-loading the converter and putting the turbo under load as well? Considering it's an automatic, I know the Grand Nationals use to behave like this. How does the Jeep feel (in terms of turbo lag) when you're passing a car on the highway or mulling around town?
