CD burining is such a hassle. Use a USB key just for your SRT info and label it. Crap...1gb USB keys are around $10 and will easily hold your whole Diablosport Directory plus all your service manuals and any other related text or pdf files. I carry an 8gb in my pocket at all times and am getting ready to get a 32gb, now that they are out.
What? You mean you don't? Only thing not on mine is my Track Experience DVD.... hmmm, I'll get right on that
My 4gb (oops...not an 8gb) is a Sandisk Cruzer Titanium Plus. Damn near indestructible cause it is in a titanium shell and the plug retracts into the case (you don't have to keep up with a stupid little cap). Best thing about it... The "Plus" version comes with free automatic backup for 2 years. Everytime it is plugged into my pc and there is an internet connection, it gets backed up onto a remote internet site. Cost $40.00 for the 4gb with free 2 year automatic backup.
Heh, the backup is nice. I went to Carbonite some time ago for my PC but they don't backup removable media (for now) so I mirror it on disk and the USB. I went with the Lexar. One is the 4GB Secure II Plus jumpdrive that has that lcd display on it that tells how full it is and the other is the 4GB Lightning that includes the Secure II and the PowerToGo software. That one has the stainless steel case but you can't touch it without leaving unsightly finger prints. I went with the Lexar since they got significantly faster read/write speeds and Dell happened to have a tremendous sale at the time.
Will do Chris. She is a monster already! When I get this 90mmTB tuned in right, and the new custome torque converter, she'll be roastin LS6s baby!!!!! Chase
I would like to thank Wade for helping me get this all uploaded and running. And Nathan for helping me figure out what I need to do with my files, going forward! Preciate the help fellas! You guys took time to take care of me, and it's greatly appreciated!!!! Only problem I got now, is the tune file was bad. And I think I overwrote the old file when I uploaded the new one! I'm sure Andy will take care of me tomorrow. But as of now, the sled is "parked." I'm an idiot for not paying attention. But hopefully Andy will get me the original file, and continue to work on the fix I need. Chase
Andy should get you fixed up tomorrow and dont be so hard on yourself you learned alot in the last 24 hours so now you might be able to help someone in need one day, thats what were all here for, lucky for you there is still a badass Jeep to scoot around in for now.
all will be good tomorrow chase!!!! just look at all of this as a good lesson learned!!!! can't wait to see / hear the finished results!!!
The Lexars are nice. I have always used Sandisk Titaniums because they were fast, don't require a cap, and are indestructible. Now Corsair (the high speed pc memory makers) is in the game. They have a 32gb unit coming out that is almost twice as fast as the Titanium. So I may have to change vendors just for speed and gb size. The backup is handled by a company called BeInSync. http://www.beinsync.com/lp/main_lp.php?rfrid=adwords_bis_beinsync&_kk=80707d1a-a895-4c8d-896d-7e1b9b1dfb1f&_kt=1157703317&gclid=CPf45_aejpMCFSouagodUWmRfA
Glad you guys fixed this up....this has been on our site forever: http://diablosport.com/downloads/manual/Hemi_custom_tune_instructions.doc Thanks Mike
Thanks Mike, like I said, I'm pretty novice on this stuff. I got it now though. Andy sent me a new file today. Chase
