Alright, time for the Maddy Update!

Maddy's doing well, with no changes to her status, meaning no news is good news. She's gained ANOTHER 35 grams, so she's just over 3 lbs 11 oz now!! Also, they want to try her on either a boob or a bottle tomorrow. Progress! Yes! :happy:

Thursday (Is it Thursday??) Update:

Maddy's doing great. I managed to drive the Charger over to see her tonight and Marc's mom and sister were there to ooh and ahh at Maddy's cuteness. Maddy's continuing to do well. She gained a whopping 50 grams since the last weigh on Wednesday night. She now weighs 1735 grams or just over 3 lbs 13 oz. Yeah, that's right, she's gained a quarter of a pound in just three days!!! Oh and we tried the breastfeeding thing and like every thing else, Maddy's excelling in that department too. This kid will be kicking my ass before very long and I'll love every minute of it. :happy:

LOL!! Very true... My week's been screwy since the whole appendix thing with Marc. I think my brain's stuck on Wednesday! :stars:

 

Alright, Maddy's 4 weeks old today and it looks like tomorrow she'll be upgraded from an isolette to an open crib like the big kids! :muscle:

She only gained 10 grams since yesterday, but considering the number of diapers she demolished the ONE time I changed her tonight, I'm not surprised. She's doing well and managed to successfully latch on and stay latched for nearly half an hour. Other than her size there's NOTHING premie about this baby. :baby:

Saturday Update:

Alright, not a lot of news today. Maddy's still growing and looking cute. She was pretty fussy tonight, but that's just because she was super hungry. Apparently she wants to put on the weight so she can go home. :baby:

I went by myself so just the one photo tonight.

 

Ok, I'm retarded. I just now saw this thread. I just read through the whole thing with all of your updates. I just want to say congratulations! It looks like she is going to be a perfect baby. My prayers are with you guys!

 

No problem, I update this thread at weird times of night.

Speaking of updates:

No pics tonight, but I'll post up the update after I call to check on her at 10 pm. Today's baby shower was amazing, I really can't think you all enough. All the boxes are out of the baby's room now so all we have to do is get the furniture set up and get everything organized/assembled this week.

I'll be going out to see her tomorrow during the day and hope to have good news tomorrow night.

 

Sunday Update:

Maddy now weighs 1805 grams which is just a hair shy of 4 lbs (3.98 lbs) and starting a midnight will be sleeping in an open crib, at least to evaluate her progress. Yay! :dance4:

do you have an idea as to when you can take her home to be with mommy? :baby:

Monday Update:

Maddy's graduated to an open crib, no more baby in a box. Her weight's up to 1860 grams or 4 lbs 1 oz (almost 2 oz) and she's off the feeding tube!! :happy: :baby:
