Good luck to TutsSRT8. Tonight he is going to the track to run a 225 single stage on the jeep. Everybody says he is playing with fire but he accepts the consequences and will go bigger and badder if anything happens. I respect him for being the guinea pig for super nitrous shots on the jeep. I really hope to see a post from him tonight showing some kickass record breaking jeep times:yahoo:
Good luck. Everyone gives me crap for running "too much" nitrous as well. But the important question isn't how much he's going to run, it's what RPM is he going to hit the trigger?
thats the same size shot I am shooting when I get the tune right. Also I am using a single stage single fogger. Most people tried to tell me it was to much for a single fogger but what ever fuck it
If that were true, there'd be no reason to say he's running a 225 shot, because it's not about nitrous, it's just fun. So the question becomes..... How much fun? A 225 shot activated at 3,000 is much more fun (and more risky) than a 225 shot activated at 6,000 RPM. I'm just curious as to how much fun he's going to have. :yahoo::dance4::headspin:
No, no, Wade meant it's just fun giving you crap! and the crap doesn't have to have anything to do with nitrous
Yep, I was mistaken about the setup. It is actually a 2 stage kit now and this is his reply on the red site. Congrats on the fastest jeep run to date.:bigwink: Sorry for the delay. I made it. Twice. Then I decided that she'd had enough. Thanks for all the reponses. 1st run... 1.62 60' 11.521 1/4 mile 2nd run... 1.60 60' 11.399 I really don't know how to adjust for temp/humidity, sorry. I have no video. I can't scan the timeslips in until monday when I'm at work. It freaked me out enough that I won't be running this setup without forging some things and geting a better tranny.
