BMC's First Tinted/Painted Tail Light Install - Pics Inside

Yesterday Paul aka Charg-um did the first BMC tinted/painted tail light install at the new shop! Kris aka SRT8U was the lucky recipient and they look awesome!!! My pictures aren't too great since they were from the iPhone, but the tops are painted to match and the faces are tinted two-tone.

Am I understanding correctly, the top of the lens, is painted to match the car. And the face is tinted so the lights can shine through. If that is the case, it would be nicer to see on a car that is not black. If that is not the case, then that is what should be the case...LOL

Just my.02, but that's how the lights should have looked from the factory. (without the tint...LOL)

 

I agree..thats how they should have been from the factory. The ones on the Black SRT (mine) are painted to match my car...Brilliant Black on the top and sides The same way the Yellow Daytona is done, those are also BMCP Tails My set was tinted a bit lighter than those. If you dont want the tiint we can do just the painted sides as well, or just a lighter tint.

 

great looking lights kris....... just becareful of the chargum guy...... he is a bit looney from sniffing too much paint!! dahahahahaha

i am considering doing a light light tint on the headlights of the ram though :happy:

 

Look at the pic in post #8, and imagine red instead of yellow...it would look A LOT better than stock. 'Specially if you blacked out yer trunk...LOL

We can do some for you like this, but with red sides to match your car ...



If you don't want them tinted that dark, we can do a really light tint with the painted sides. That would look hot!!

 

I want the projector headlights on the ram lightly tinted...that way tehy would more closely match the LED tails i just got :happy:

kris - paul did a nice job on those lights!!!! i like how the tint is a lighter shaed vs. what i have. very cool my friend!!!
