You do know that there are a lot of people with the TSB that still do burnouts as long as they want when they want right? They just feather the pedal. Legmaker has artificial legs with no ankles so it's not an option for him. I'm pretty sure I remember people reverse flashing the TCM. It takes a Starscan to do it. I think it was primarily a case of they don't support backward compatibility, didn't test it, and it's not certified. That moniker under your name will change with amount of posts you make, and you can change it yourself to what you want.

Exactly. and you sent it to the dealer and told them to do it yesterday (post #1). Scott replied to that post in post #4. Then on page 3 you said you were really anxious about having done this. Many Scott posts before and after that (mostly off topic which is probably what confused him). Finally, I think he sort of remembered the topic as "SHOULD I get the TSB done?" and decided to check on what you were thinking about doing... With Scott it's like the movie Groundhog Day but it only lasts about 5 or 6 posts :drugs:
once it was in service was when i asked.. should have thought it out a little better then taken it in. i know scott is against it... did you have it done? there is a guy on here who said he ran a 12.94 stock. he has an 07 charger, i figured maybe my times would be more consistent if my tcm was updated. i ran a 13.3 with mods.

You know what Ben, it's not that I'm AGAINST it, more like I didn't see the need to do it. With the hesitation issue fixed by the B&G I didn't see any need to have it done. I don't have a prob with it not auto upshifting on it's own at redline and I really don't want to be stuck with it short shifting to 2nd doing a burnout (whether feathering the throttle or not Dave) or stuck with it not downshifting to first over 25 mph so I just don't see the need to do it. Someday maybe, but not now.
