Monday Update:

Unfortunately, photobucket's down for site maintenance, so the pics we took today are going to have to wait until tomorrow when I get up.

Maddy's doing well, digesting all of her milk/formula and keeping it all down. She's also up to 3 lbs 9 oz!!! Yay!! She's bigger than 3 and a half lbs!! :dance4:

 

woooohoooo!...always like more good news!...

gotta save this thread some how to show her when shes older! haha

 

Alright, here are the pics. Marc got to give her a bath tonight. I wasn't there to take pics but we managed to get a few before we left.

Tuesday Update:

Maddy's up to 1650 grams or just over 3 lbs 10 oz!! She's gained a whole pound since birth!! She's doing well with her feedings, no more sick up and she's up to 32 cc's per feeding now!

Unfortunately, there were no pictures today, but we have a good excuse.

Marc had to have his appendix out tonight, so I've been with him at the hospital all night for that. The surgery went well and he should be home to recuperate later this morning. Luckily they were able to get the bugger out before it ruptured!

What a month its been! I was admitted to the hospital on the 1st for vomitting and fever, ended up having Maddy on the 4th, Maddy's still in the hospital and will be for another few weeks and now Marc will be discharged from the hospital after his appendectomy tomorrow on the 30th! Here's hoping for a peaceful May!!

OH MAN!...hope mark has a speedy recovery!...were you already at the hospital at least?

 

No, he woke up with stomach pain yesterday and after being in constant pain all day and the assorted pain/digestive meds not working he finally agreed to go to the ER. Another 3 and a half hours after that, including an IV bag and three doses of morphine they got him into surgery and got the thing out. So yeah, at this moment, my daughter and my hubby are both in the hospital, but different ones. I'm getting ready to head over to see how Marc's doing and if I can take him home today. :cry2:

 

oh man that stinks!...i hope Marc is feeling well enough to head home with you!

 

Alright, bad news is, no pics of Maddy again. I'll be calling her nurse later to get an update on her status (weight, vomiting?, well-being). :baby:

The good news is, Marc is home now with three new incisions in his belly. He's supposed to take it easy the next four weeks, taking his meds as needed. So I've gone from being the f'd up one to being the caregiver. Whee!



At least I'll be able to work off any remaining pregnancy lbs, not that there many to begin with. :grin:

 

When it rains it pours. Glad everything and everyone is doing fine Tam. Here's to the rest of the year being heathly and nice.

Yeah, in one month's time, all three of us have been hospitalized with IVs. Marc and I both have had our bellies cut open and stuff removed and well, Marc has been thru some of the same digestive tract probing that Maddy has. Fun fun. Just glad Marc's home so I can look after him and get some housecleaning done while he's not working!

 

Well, very glad to hear that things are fine T, and tell Marc I had my appendix removed (emergency) 3 years ago....and I was to take things easy for 6 weeks! No lifting of things over 10lbs , no cooking, no getting anything for anyone, no um...no nothing but video games, tv, etc etc. Hahaha. jk. I was good to go in 2 weeks.
