Sevendust's lead guitarist had a CSRT8 and posted on 300Cforums. Kenny Wayne Shepard had his 8 tuned at GSM last week.
My daughter Tina dated the orginal bass player of Korn. He quit just before they made it big. He was in a band named Cake also. He's married now, has children, and is into investments.

I can't remember what I like for bass. I like bass that is musical, such as in blues and jazz.

I have Erick Gales, Sevendust, Dianne Reeves, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Legend, Hendrix, and Toto in and out of rotation in my 8.

Perhaps I should have rephrased the title to say Boom, ROCK, or whatever gets you in the mood to cruise lol...[...fixed ;) ]

Hendrix Rocks! All along the Watchtower and Hey Joe are awesome but his best hits CD is ALL GOOD. Well worth the purchase.

Saliva, if you've never heard them, will rock your sub man... ;-)

For you old school rokkers, Golden Earring (Twilight Zone & Radar Love), Damn Yankees, Styx, Queen (don't laugh...the top 40 stuff is nothing like many of their tracks), .38 Special, Meatloaf, AC/DC, Joe Satriani (Crystal Planet), Santana (Supernatural - Leave Your Lights On), Alan Parsons Project (Apollo), Yes (Big Generator), Billy Idol...yadda yadda yadda

What programs are folks using to burn MP3 CD's??? I'm not having too much success with one I have now. Suggestions???

Milan, gotta be classic rock for me.

Rush is my favorite but after that ...

    Led Zep
    AC/DC
    Van Halen
    Aerosmith

    And then...

    Pink Floyd
    Genesis
    The Who

    And ...
    Metallica
    Stone Temple Pilots
    Queensryche

    and I like(d) Creed!

Most of the time my cd players are filled with Rush. IMO 3 best musicians ever assembled!

It's very hard to beat Rush for their great instrument/musical ability. I used to love em and can still listen to em as well. YYZ was a classic Rush instrumental. Eh...and they're Canadian too...I knew we had someone lol.

Hmm, anything Rob Zombie works, though lately I've been on a Dethklok kick, especially the track "Go Into The Water" bitching guitars on that, even if it is a cartoon band. To lighten the mood I usually go with Gorillaz, makes full use of the speaker system and of course, an ample dose of Southern Rock so I can get my displaced Redneck in California on. :dance4:

And sorry, I hate hate hate hate RUSH, if only because for as cool as the music is, the lead singer sounds like a cat in a tangle with a circular saw, argh!

Um, yeah, my kids can listen to classical and various funk/rock like I did, instead of all that stupid commie hippie shit.

Yes, I like the Black Crowes, hell they were my favorite band before Kate Hudson went all Yoko on them. Though I do love me some Allman Brothers and Skynyrd. Been on a Motley Crue and AC/DC kick lately though.

And with regard to Rush, yeah, they have meaningful lyrics and good musical artistry/composition, its just the damn lead singer I hate. Gimme a break.
