yeh i know, but i've got to try it. why not? once the roof comes in, running the ralley stripes front to back will look sick, imo. like i said, i like to try things out and most of the time waist my $$$. we'll see how it turns out. thanks
wow jimmy, looks great as always. im guessing your next mod is painting the cf flat black too, to match?
looks great bro... love the look! and on the strips....do what you think is best on your car..just my .02 bro. lot's of peep's said (blue wheels?????????? WTF?) but i like them...and that's what counts! now everyone has colored wheels? and it's been 2 years!
the hood and trunk dude. i was thinking it was too shiny from the looks of it on the pictures. painting them flat black and leaving SC stripes down the middle would look mean as hell. plus, it would go with the theme i think youre shooting for with the flat colors on the brilliant silver.
that's a set of kiiler wheels too. love the look. i'm going to hold off on the stripes and work on pushing for the roof. i'm also planning on doing some custom work for a 3 pc spoiler. i couldn't pain that much of the hood. i was orginally thinking about painting the ralley strip 10"s each with a 2" border matching the wheels and the center would be transparent black. so you can see the cf still, but tinted. still thinking about. thanks brathas!
last, but not least.......thanks again for the responses everyone. i really appreciate it and i take everything in consideration. take care! also thanks to Carbon by design and Billet Technology for making killer products. i bow to the two of you.
Jimmy, who makes the little chin spoiler you have on the lower front valence? I've got a bucnh of nasty curb scrapes under mine and the black chin would do wonders to conceal the ugly marks. Type talk to me! Joe
joe, it's the stock daytona chin spoiler. i believe that i've seen it on a maggie as well. the only issue, is that it hangs lower, so you do have to be carefull. good luck!
Crap! I must be getting older...for me not to notice little details among the LX platform is unusual, James. I may just have to get into my 5-Star parts counter and have them pull a part number because I've never seen one on an MSRT (mine doesn't have one!). Maggie owners chime in! J.
