Does anyone know where they got the body from on that thing? I'm interested in the body for an electric car.
I have an electric Losi truck and the Traxxess 4-tec electric and Nitro with the 3.3! 70MPH+:boxing::boxing:
I've never had much interest in R/C stuff except for what the kids get. Yesterday I was at a shopping center and these guys were out in the parking lot in front of the hobby store running some sort of car with a fuel motor. Holy crap! It looked about 0-50 in a 100'. Almost got squashed. Guy launched it and maybe got going a bit faster than planed. Got it sideways to stop it (hell of a driver) but it slid out into the intersection anyway. Station wagon noticed it and stopped a couple of feet short.
I used to race pan cars oval 1.10 scale, and they were pretty dam sick on carpet banked ovals! That was back in Ohio, out here in AZ for some reason everyone wants to be outside in the dirt! I had about 20 at least, everything from Losi XXXs buggies, and trucks, to Tmaxx, Revos, 4 wd 8th scale Kyoshos, GS Storms, and a bunch of Associated crap. Of all of them by far my favorite was the Woods Racing 10th scale nascars. They were incredibly fast, and fun to drive.
I have an ORIGINAL AE RC-10T Electric stashed away in my various "toy"boxes... I got about $1000 in it. ...... Damn, now I'm gonna have to dig it out sometime this week. :headspin:
I have been looking into getting one (When I get some moolah) ever since Mutt started talking about the pair of them he and his Dad got. I have wanted a good one since I can remember! I think I am leaning toward an electric setup though.
Well, I have heard that the nitro cars are very tough to keep tuned up, and that the fuel is very expensive! I am still weighing my options, it will be a while before I have the scratch anyway.
