alright, i think i have figured out which route i want to go with the car and as far as engine management goes.

I want to know if anyone has emanage experience and how well it 'plays' with the srt4 ECU. i found a good deal on emanage blue + profec e-01 for 700$ shipped brand new. it also would come with injector harness and everything needed.

i know the price of 700$ is more than the original price i wanted to spend, but the 700$ would go alot further if the emanage works well with srt4 ecu.

    so that would consist of:
    emanage blue emanage unit
    injector harness
    MAP harness and sensor
    electronic boost controller
e-01 programming system for tuning and boost control

and on top of that i would get some type of WGA, either the S2 or FM.

A local marylander has that same setup with stage 2 no toys and a GT3076R and he seems to love it. What other mods do you have?

only mods the car has is: AFE intake, Injen catback, MSD coil, MSD plug wires for performance. it also has short throw and mount inserts but otherwise stock.

Waste of money then if thats all the mods you have done. Now on the other hand if you plan on stepping up the turbo, pcm and injectors then yes its a good idea. BTW sell that msd coil, they are bad news my friend.

Misfiring, rough idle and the list could go on and on. Most of the time they fail due to larger than .035 spark plug gap.:thumb:

the emanage is..............ok. some cars run great on them, other cars just reject them for some reason. no one really knows why. when they work it's a really nice set up though.

i agree that it's kinda a waste with your mods though. there really are other things that you should look into first, like a wga, mbc, fuel upgrades......

yeah, right after i posted, ran a quick search.. gonna check my gap tomm. and make sure is around .030 to prevent failure.

boo on shooting my emanage idea out of the sky..

maybe ill look into a S2 kit with MBC

emanage isn't a bad idea....just not right now. once you have some more of the basic mods it will be worth it to spend that kind of cash.

Get a good wide band before you do anything else. Then ditch the mbc idea and go for an FM wga with whatever stage you decide on.

There are 6 to 7 local guys around here that have em and have never had an issue, although there was one that snapped his wga rod but that was from over tightening it. Its a Garrett actuator canister, and they shouldn't leak through the shaft considering there is a diapram in there. FM offers a limited lifetime warranty on the wga.
