Im bone stock and the race weight is 5177 ( me at 230 lbs full tank gas,40lbs ice). I never been here b4 so didnt no the area so i got gas b4 i got there. The ice didnt seem to help much and the TC off helped 2 hunderds. There was 1 other bone stock srt-8 jeep there and he was running 8.75 and a srt-8 charger with cai running 8.80 - 8.90 so i guess im in the ball park. From what i saw tonite from the other srt-8 jeeps that were modded the predator tune, cai and cat back exh is worth 2.5 tenths and about 2.5 mph. The extra 120 lbs (80lbs gas full tank and 40 lbs ice i left in the car ) cost me 1 tenth in the 1/8. Next time 1/4 tank gas and no extra weight. All in all i had great time because the last time i raced was at the old Irwindale track in 1973 in my 340 ply duster.

Nice numbers. If I remember right, that's pretty close to Steve's (SGTStanko) numbers when it was hot out. He had CAI, headers, Cat-back, and a 2800 stall converter. Weather and track conditons can make a big difference. He was supposed to be out there last night. I'm sure he'll pop in here later.

the best I saw Steve run at Irwindale in his 2006 with the configuration you noted (not sure about the stall converter) was 8:19 on night that was at bit hotter.

Thanks HAL and Steve,Dave and Bazooka was there in his truck. Both steve and Dave were running well. I didnt see bazooka run. I was hoping for some 8.50s but wasnt in the cards. I should of ran on 1/4 tank instead of full tank and saved 80 lbs for gas weight and should of taken the ice out also that was 40 lbs. Dam thats 120 lbs at 12 lbs a hunderdth for the 1/8 thats 1 tenth lol. I talked to a guy in a gto and he was 1 tenth off from 2 weeks a go. Ill let Steve and Dave post there times.

I thought those where 9.6's. LOL I know I ran a 1.80 60' with traction and esp issues and your where like 1.90 to 1.95.

I wish I could have been there. I guess my car didn't make it.

With a simple cam install you Jeep guys would be in the 7s quite easily, I would like to see what the 260 comp cam would do for you guys. I mean look what it did for my Truck. I think you guys would really like the benefits of a cam, Improved mileage and performance, With the tuning you guys have available this would be a breeze.

I know a good installer. LOL

I might have to take you guys up for the job. Sometime next year. Wish I could have come out to play guys, but I wasn't feeling well and didn't even make it to work.
