pssssssst, hey Chris, my I-Forged 22's are only 16lbs heavier (total weight) than my stock 20's. I would imagine that the 22's for the Jeep would come in much lighter than your Runflat 20's.
Forgive me if Im reading your post wrong but even if your 22s were the exact same weight as 20s, the 22s will cause more parastatic loss. (I will leave that to a physics wiz to say how much hint hint Blown 7) Those are very nice wheels, can they be made in all Black or is that getting too custom ?
I'm interested in this. I can't figure out how unless an inch diameter of wheel weighs a whole lot more than an inch diameter of rubber. [edit] I got it, I got it, ...i think... Much/most of the mass will be in the rim/barrel. It's going to be like a fly wheel. If you move that out 1" further from the center it's going to take more to get it going and stop it (inertia of the wheel). Same total weight but a good bit of it is going to be moved further from the fulcrum/center than before. I could tell you how much incremental loss ... but then I'd have to kill you
You would be correct. Which is why my 22's are for cruising and show. I leave my 18's and DR's for the track. hehe I was merely giving an example of the weight difference. Good catch.
