Last night she goes, "I thought you were gonna be happy getting the SRT8 when we decided against the RT!! But your not...you always want to go faster and faster. You don't even care about doing anything to the look of the car like most people....That car is gonna drive me into an early grave"!! I go, "Hold on hun!! From what you are saying, your wife is not quite as far along as mine. When mine said to me " you have done nothing with the look" I took that as immediate liscense to go hog wild spending on the exterior! I wouldn't have been able to stay married 26 years without learning to beat her at her own games.
anyone ever notice that you get the girl with the car...then as soon as you get her...she seems to want you to sell the car for a mini van and never have a nice car again? hahaha and so the ladies here dont yell...your all the exception to the rule and you rock and we should all be so lucky to have girls like you hahaha...i hope my wife would be down with driving an SRT of some kind :deshade: hell i am not even married yet and i get yelled at for doing stuff to my car hahaha
How true Howie...how true. But I am sick...there are soo many little and subtle aesthetic mods I want to do but the need for speed takes precedence until I hit that benchmark I'm looking for. 12.4's. Then I have some ideas. Beating them at the game eh? Yes, I have become a veritable professional (albeit in my own mind) at 'trying' to do this...but she's a smart cookie herself. I said this before, and I guess I'll say it again in case any of our other members have similar issues...they may want to try this: GO BIG or GO HOME: I told the wife in response to her question: "When is this all gonna stop?" Result: P&P Heads for next track season, headers (hopefully..damn they're pricey) and P&P'd Intake....oh and custom tune...can't run it all "SLOPPY" now with an existing solution. I'm half-jokin...she's been a saint.

I must be lucky or married to a blind woman. She never says a word about my spending money on cars, clothes or shoes. Now she does take exception to the cash I spend on whores but that's another story for another time.....

Cindy lets me do pretty much whatever I want to do. She is the prototype best wife. Cars, car stereo, audio, and A/V. I even have 55" 1080P Sony and BluRay DVD with Parasound, Anthem, Paradigm, etc, in our bedroom. 99 Z28 with 2 motors, my SRT8, and a Tundra 5.7 Doublecab. Just spending our retirement and our kids inheritance.

When it comes to things for us, as in the fam...she's totally cool as well. We have lots of toys, a nice house, vacations blah blah blah....but "my" car? Not as much enthusiasm fo sho! In all honesty, I think she 'may' be a 'wee bit' jealous of her..I mean it. lol. IDK why. I could be out drinkin', hanging at strip clubs, playin poker to the wee hrs and losing, being a golf fanatic (Stevo knows that can get pricey too hehe) or whatever the hell other thing she'd see as a vice. She has come around a lot in the last 11 mths and I think the biggest thing besides my first "break-in" tip, is I brought her to the track with us. She is THE BIGGEST FEMALE Pittsburgh Steelers fan I know of, an athlete in her own right and super competitive....my last outing to St. Thomas Drags, she didn't come, but she saw the video and when she saw I lost to a hopped up Mitsu Eclipse...she was pissed...! LMAO. I loved it...She goes, "MAN! Soo close! He took you off the start is what it was" hehe (Actually, buddy ran a 12.5+ to my 12.74. Quick little creature).
