    Out of curiosity...

Give me the low-down on nitrous kits for our SRT8's. Cost, difficulty of install, HP gains, where to purchase, etc.

Kit # 82177 For a basic set up you will need a purge guage and a bottle heater. If you got to the track you will also need a blow down tube.If you spray more than a 100 shot you will need a colder set of plugs.Instalation skill level 1-10 10 being the highest.I would say about a 7-8..

You're likely right... however, I'm supposed to race Ryan this week... and I MAY want to give him a 'surprise'!

    I already told him...

How much would one cost? I'd only go with a basic setup... 75 shot or so.

You can get by for about $2500. Anything more than that is just overkill IMO.

If you do the install your self.your looking at
    about 600.00 for the kit
    100-150 for a heater
    100 for purge
30.00 or so to fill the bottle.

Do yourself a favor, and allow another $350 for a wideband AFR gauge.

How do these nitrous systems work? Meaning: you press the 'trigger' and it sprays for 2 seconds, or do you hold the 'trigger' down for continuous spray?!?!

Given your answers: how long does a bottle last?!?!

Damn MOMO For a guy with 1800 posts. You dont know shit..lol

A bottle will last about 6-8 1/4 mile passes spraying a 100 shot.
The shot lasts as long as you hold down the pedal.I sense WOT<--Wide open throttle and shuts off when you let the pedal go..
